Meet your therapist
Hi, I’m Gabriella, but you can call me GG.
In therapy, you can expect me to:
Be honest but never judgmental
Keep you focused on your goals
Provide new ways of looking at things
Be curious about you, your life, motivations and desires
Offer practical and realistic suggestions

Mental health therapy is my third career and my most rewarding one.
15 years ago I was a tax accountant (loved solving problems, hated staring at a computer).
Then I moved into education and worked at colleges in student leadership development (loved working with people, hated the bureaucracy).
Becoming a therapist was something I had considered for years, but wasn’t always ready for. Once I felt I had worked through my personal stuff and was capable and experienced enough in life to help others, I pursued another graduate degree and love my work now more than ever.
I don’t see my previous roles as a waste of time, but rather a culmination of valuable experiences that taught me about myself, others, and how work can shape our lives. And knowing how to do my own taxes is something I will never regret!
