Why work with me?

As a therapist specializing in working with men, I understand the unique challenges and pressures men face. Many men appreciate my direct, solution-focused approach, which helps us build a productive and effective therapeutic partnership.

From an early age, men are often taught — whether by family, peers, or society — to suppress vulnerability, downplay emotions like sadness or fear, and prioritize strength and self-reliance. You may have been encouraged to follow a specific path in life — achieving success, providing for others, or meeting certain expectations — without much space to explore your own needs and emotions.

Over time, these learned patterns may have helped you navigate the world, but they can also lead to struggles such as anxiety, depression, difficulty expressing emotions, isolation, numbness, sleep disturbances, substance use, or anger. These challenges can affect your relationships, work, parenting, and overall well-being.

Therapy provides a space to explore and challenge these patterns, reconnect with your emotions in a way that feels authentic, and develop tools to navigate life with greater clarity and fulfillment. If you’re ready to do this work, I’m here to help.
